Thank you for using our Discord Application Framework, specifically the Ari-Chan, Miu, and AI-powered bots within Discord (collectively, the “Bots”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and ensuring transparency regarding how our bots operate.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data for bot functionality:

  • User Data:
    • User IDs, usernames, and commands issued to the bot.
  • Server Data:
    • Server IDs, channel IDs, and messages for logging and administrative purposes.
  • Bot Interactions:
    • Logs of user interactions with the bot for monitoring, debugging, and improving services.
  • AI Processing (Shapes.inc Bot Only):
    • Messages sent to the AI chatbot are processed by Shapes.inc, which may analyze and generate responses.
    • The AI chatbot does not permanently store messages within our systems, but Shapes.inc may have its own retention policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery:
    • To execute bot commands, log messages, and provide automated responses.
  • Safety and Security:
    • Monitoring for misuse, spam, or prohibited content.
  • AI Chatbot Processing (Shapes.inc Bot Only):
    • User messages sent to the AI chatbot are processed by Shapes.inc’s servers to generate responses.
    • We do not store long-term records of AI conversations beyond necessary logging for moderation.
  • Performance Improvements:
    • Analyzing interactions to enhance bot functionality and user experience.

3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

3.1. General Bot Usage (Ari-Chan & Miu)

  • We do not share user data with third parties unless required by law.
  • All logging and data processing are kept within our internal systems.

3.2. AI Chatbot (Shapes.inc) Data Handling

  • Messages sent to the AI chatbot are processed externally by Shapes.inc, a third-party AI service provider.
  • We do not control or permanently store these interactions, but Shapes.inc may process data as per their policies.

4. Data Retention

  • General Bot Logs: Stored temporarily and typically cleared on each bot reboot. Persistent data is stored securely.
  • AI Chatbot Messages: Not permanently stored in our systems, but processed in real time by Shapes.inc.
  • Moderation Logs: If necessary for safety/security reasons, interaction logs may be retained temporarily for review.

5. User Rights & Opt-Out Options

  • General Data Requests: Users may request access to, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting us.
  • AI Chatbot Opt-Out: Users who do not wish to interact with the AI chatbot can:
    • Mute the bot within Discord.
    • Avoid designated AI interaction channels.
    • Request a review of logged AI interactions (if applicable).

6. Data Security

  • We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data.
  • AI chatbot interactions are processed externally by Shapes.inc, which has its own security measures.
