Installing SMS (A Role-Playing Software for Play-By-Post Games)

SMS is a Sim Management System produced by Anodyne Systems. It is used to manage content, logs and player information in one, easy to use web site. The following are the steps to take to install this.
1) Log into your control panel and scroll down to “My SQL Databases” and click on it.
2) Next, find the heading “Create New Database” then type in a name for your database, it can be anything you want to put in, then click the Create Database button
3) Now, click the the blue text at the bottom that says go back, this will take you to the database screen again
4) Now, you have to add a user to be able to access the database. To do this, scroll down to “MySQL Users” and enter a user name and password then click the Create User Button
*Note:write down the password you use
5) Repeat step 3
6) Again your returned to the database page. Scroll to the bottom and find the heading “Add User to Database” and make sure the use and database you want are paired in the drop down menus
7) Now you have the database that sms will be installed to. Next, goto http://www.anodyne-productions.com and download the latest version of SMS
8) Once that is complete, you will need to unzip it using a program such as winzip or winrar, both may be freely downloaded from their company sites.
9) After you unzip them, you will need to upload all the files to your public_html folder. To do this you just need to download any ftp program, such as WSFTP or Cute FTP or may do it in your CP using File Manager.
10) Once uploaded, goto http://yoursite/install.php and just follow the on screen instructions
