Backing Up Your SQL Database

Backing up your SQL is very easy and very important.  Your SQL, if your web site uses it, contains all of your web sites information and backing it up gives you the ability to put your web site back if anything happens.  Below are the 6 steps you need to follow to do this.

1 - Log into your control panel - http://yoursitehere:2082.

2 - Scroll down to the SQL moduel and select PHPMyAdmin.

3 - Select your database in the left column.

4 - In the right column, after you select database, a screen will appear with several clickable tabs.  Select "export."

5 - Leave all settings as they are and scroll down to the bottom.  You will see a check box that says "Save as file" select this.

6 - Scroll farther down and click go.  This will download your SQL to your computer.
